SCENERY
Kanha is known for it's stunning scenery. Even if the wildlife sighting are slow then you have a good alternative to just enjoy the scenery. Below are some shots of the stunning scenery.
MAMMALS
While the main attraction for Kanha for most is the tigers, there are plenty of other mammals to watch out for including a species of deer (Barasinga) only found in Kanha.

BIRDS
Kanha also offers plenty of options for avid birders, with various owl species, raptors and other colourful Indian birds to be found. During this trip I was really fortunate to get some great photos of Indian Scops Owls in their tree as well as a Jungle Owlet.

TIGERS
The main reason for many people to visit Kanha... Tigers! And none better known than Munna (nickname cat - as you can read CAT on his forehead). We got lucky enough to sight tigers twice during this trip. Once was at the end of a safari, in dusk with bad lighting (and consequently high ISO), but the best sighting was of the famous Munna as he was moving along his territory. This gave me one of my favorite tigers photos that I've taken (middle top of the gallery below).
