This was quite a different type of trip. You get into the hide just before sundown and then spend as long as you can last (but should exit before sunrise) and wait for different species of martens, and potentially hedgehogs or badgers to show up under the lights. Photographing in the dark brings unique challenges which alongside the fact that the martens can be quite fast to drop in and leave, makes it quite difficult.
